Squash

Westlake Girls Squash is fortunate to call North Shore Squash Club their home. Within walkabout distance to school, students are invited to try a new sport or develop their skills set at the well established club. The Secondary Squash league starts in May each year and it is played on Monday’s after school at various venues around the city. There are also One Day Events hosted throughout the term with the culmination of the season occurring at the New Zealand Secondary Schools Squash Championship in August. Westlake Girls has 3 main players groups in squash: Premier – advanced grade, Senior – fun and competitive inter school league and Social – new or non-competitive. Novice players can also develop their skills and the love of the game each Tuesday afterschool with Social Squash.

REFUND POLICY:

In the unlikely event a school trip is cancelled either by the school, a third party, or through extenuating circumstances, WGHS will endeavour to seek a refund of any deposit or full payment paid to an external party (such as flights or accommodation) on behalf of our students. Please note there may be situations where external parties are legally entitled to retain partial or full payment – in the case of a late cancellation, or binding agreement terms, for instance. In these situations, WGHS agrees to recover as much of the cost as practicable, however the school is not liable if a full refund is unattainable.
